Actions
And reactions.
If the criteria are Karma
And the process takes place
Pleasure and pain are the yardsticks
Of the human race.
Actions and reactions
Continually occur
One moment there is clarity
The next life is a blur.
It’s often interference
Or inappropriate action
That leads to suffering
Then lack of satisfaction.
How long will it take for the ache?
To slow or disappear
Due to dental intervention
And leave me in the clear.
Timing is always terrible
Patience is the test
Take the days one by one
And then forget the rest.
I’m in and out of agony
And can’t get pain relief
Despite strong analgesics
The ache’s beyond belief.
Lift me, then let me down
The roller coaster ride
Actions and reactions
With Karma on the side.
Is it because of a pause?
A change to my routine
Or just the plain karma
Of where I have been.
