Adaptability

Doing things differently

Madagascar Magic

Learning that the yearning,
Can be modified,
Reshaped and reconstructed,
Though cannot be denied.

The pause that causes happiness,
Inspired by a friend,
And a new beginning,
That this is not the end.

Doing things differently,
The adaptability,
Convert to new conditions,
Laws of probability.

Time to explore that there is more,
Than humdrum and routine,
Doing something different,
Places I’ve never been.

Move into another world,
Of fact and fantasy,
Looking out the window,
Knowing I am free.

In a place set in the sea
Moving in a magic world
In a tree in Madagascar
A chameleon is curled.

To make up what I will or want,
Be whatever that I wish,
Swimming in the deep blue sea,
Joining the fish.

Being part of the sky,
And the atmosphere,
And as free as the breeze,
Knowing I am here.

Changes to the way I think,
And the ability,
To move into a better place,
Through adaptability.
