An Interlude

Into a different mood.

I may prefer consistency
It feels safer there
A regular routine
Often without a care

Then there is a breather
Taking some time out
Whether by design
Or pricked with pain and doubt

Rain falls like teardrops
The sun’s taken a break
For a while, has lost his smile
Was it for heaven’s sake

Or a pattern and hiatus
Two days are not the same
Differences Defined
Part of nature’s game

Nothing is forever
Always constant change
Breathing space in the clouds
Banking on the range

Are rivulets running
And soothing the parched ground
being in another place
Somewhere I have found

I fell then took a breather
A forced interlude
It transformed every moment
Into a different mood
