Back
On track.
Off on a tour, tres bon monsieur,
Let’s take another route,
Where the air is fresh and pure,
A place where we can scoot.
Into the blue Beyonder,
A place that’s green and lush,
You and I will wander,
I wonder if you’ll blush.
When we are left with each other,
At the end of the day,
With you and not another,
I wonder what you’ll say.
We’ll talk about the weather,
The day and scenery,
The reason why we are together,
And love’s machinery.
Outside the breeze whistles,
The country is flashing by,
And as I write these epistles,
I sometimes wonder why.
The birds and bees in the trees,
Stop and wonder why,
As we drift in the breeze,
We don’t even have to try.
Dreaming of days of sunshine,
As we meander up the coast,
Inside our being, is our shrine,
And you, my love, are the most.
What a bon jour we’re off on a tour,
And now there’s no turning back,
It is the panacea and the cure,
To put us both back on track.
