…My dad lives in the same state as me and ‘it's ok; we picked the ‘florist's choice’’, I tell myself. I don’t know why I’m crying. He’s not expecting them. Beautiful old coot; he never expects anything.

My poor brother lying in hospital in Sydney with bowel cancer. And neither I, nor his family allowed to see him :(
