Buenos Nachos Carina
Hola, I will see you soon
Now that you speak more Spanish
We can both bay at the moon.

Ich kann ihnen im Bett vorstellen
Being there next to you
Und Ven you lern to sprechen Deutsch meine Geliebte
You can say to me, how do you do.

It’s morning back here in Australia
It’s six-thirty in Austrian
It’s quarter to nine in Bolivia
I know because I am Australian.

I’ll now answer the emails you sent me
Thanks for the diary you sent in large font
And the link to the new writing group
I’ll read with my coffee, and a steaming hot, croissant.

I’m counting the days and know a purple haze
Dims the yearning and peaks the desire
But I will see thee, and thou will see me
On the Pier, to set both hearts on fire.

So, keep me a place in your dreams, sweetheart
Let’s continue the mirth, and worth.
It’s much like a new beginning
Some would call it an immaculate rebirth.
