Cloaks

Of iridescence

I’ve seen it in the scenery.
And felt it in the air.
The magic mist of nature
It stretches everywhere.

Cloaks of iridescence
Rainbows of refraction
Luminescence in bubbles
An opaque interaction.

Colours of the rainbow
Muted in a mist
Wedges of cold air
And warm currents kissed.

Atmospheric action
Stormy weather brewing
Light transposed to haze.
It was electrified and imbuing.

Spectacular reflections
Split the skies apart.
Cosmic interactions
Raw pulsing of the heart.

Forked shafts of lightening
Reflects in opaque mirrors
Painted across the skies
Ribbons cut with scissors

The storm was gone in a whisper.
Replaced by a cloudy haze
Opaque and obscure
Weather in a daze.

Shadows of the evening
Mystify perceptions
Ambiguous and unclear
And delayed interactions.

Mist over the water
Mysterious and enigmatic
Opaque unclear dreams
Climatic and dramatic.
