Components of the Tapestry

Of life.

Faith, hope and charity
Three facets in a line
Endured and well managed
Water turns to wine.

I have faith that isn’t pious,
Hope and optimism too
Charity and goodwill
And whatever I construe.

Components of the Tapestry
Are woven over time
Construction of the ethos
I’ve learnt that is mine

It’s more like a feeling
And smoothing of the senses
The cost of the completion
Minus the expenses.

I find it in the open sky
And clouds before the rain
In love and satisfaction
And what I can sustain.

Life is an enigma
Some pieces fit together
Others that wither
Night and day, and any weather.

I try to walk and talk
Straighter than an arrow
Sometimes I trip and fall
When the track’s too narrow.
