Contented

From within

When I'm down, I wear a frown
And feel forlorn and lost
And then I see what I could be
And each bridge I've crossed

And then it's time to turn around
And gaze out at the ocean
And drink in, where I have been
Love is the magic potion

My recipe I can see
Is to have cordial relations
Resourceful deployment
And minimal frustrations.

Love for one another
And having good friends
My sister and my lost brother
Making appropriate amends.

Being treated with respect
And respecting each other
Making an effort to connect
Good cheer to one another.

Staying fit and healthy
Gives great satisfaction
Within my capacity
And keeps me in action

Being happy in my skin
It leaves me feeling good
Contented, not tormented
And readily understood

Fun and joyous laughter
Completes my destiny
And satisfaction and traction
Is the perfect recipe
