Day Turning to Night
And despite
And despite the day turning to night,
Two minds that act as one,
And who knows when they might,
Join up and have some fun.
The circumstance is the dance,
That spins us off the rails,
Yet again, there is the chance,
When true love prevails.
The eclipse is when a kiss,
Ignites inside a fire,
No more is it hit or miss,
The madness of desire.
We need to love somebody,
And feel that love return.
Just not anybody,
Then learn before we burn.
Magic days and moments
one’s that are magnified
Make up the components,
To keep me satisfied.
Lifted by the feeling,
Exalted by the time,
When my heart is reeling,
And everything’s in line.
I walk and talk and wonder,
What is this all about
The lightning and the thunder,
The floods that followed drought.
And then again, there’s magic,
And when all else fails,
Though it may feel tragic,
is when true love prevails.
