Deal Breakers

Movers and shakers.

Deal breakers that I know
Come in many guises
Halitosis prickly beards
And whiffs without disguises.

But my dear, never fear.
Other sniffs can be exotic.
Sending senses mad and wild
Narcotic and hypnotic.

I think we’ll try the latter.
Though crazy makes more sense.
Whichever way our closeness goes
We’re both left in suspense.

I know that you’re pragmatic.
And maybe I’m a dreamer.
And as the time gets closer.
Which one will be the schemer?

It doesn’t matter.
We’ve formed a great rapport.
And what ere the outcome
It’s never been a bore.

So, let’s be philosophical.
And not interrupt the love.
With thoughts of deal breakers
And remain hand in glove.

It’s never the destination.
The journey is the best.
Experiencing every moment
And arriving, we’re blessed.

So, let us let it be
We’re both movers and shakers.
And we can’t go wrong.
There are no deal-breakers.
