Differences

Defined by choices

There are always standby solutions.
Leftfield is unorthodox and witty, and smart.
Options that are out of the ordinary
I am getting back to the basics from the start.

The choice is a gift to rejoice
answers written in the wind.
Ways and means lying on the workbench
Opportunities identified and tinned.

Opening my mind to sets of circumstances
Exploring the alternatives on my plate
Pondering the different perspectives
And the right keys to open the gate.

I’ve walked down the avenues of selection.
And breathed in the cool autumn air
Ideas are stacked and ready for picking.
They are waiting with care.

Deep thoughts can eclipse the imagination.
Spontaneity puts perspective in the frame.
Best to use materials around me
And select dry kindling to ignite the flame.

Choices define differences
Music resonates in my trained ear.
Alternatives are there for the picking.
The gift of sight and sound that I can hear.

Sorting out the fair from the fatuous
Treading softly on the frail earth
Enjoying moments of exposition
And it was softly melting into times of mirth
