Dreams aims and desires
Achieving an ambition
Hopes alight with fires
They are turning to fruition.
Incisive aspirations
Cutting to the chase
A quest fuelled with a zest.
To reach a better place.
Attaining better outcomes
Aspiring for the best
Accepting what becomes
And for nothing less.
Achieving a set goal
the object of intent
regaining sparks of myself
and acceding what I spent
aspirations are the cornerstones
and yearnings realised
Exploring the unknowns
We are exposing the surprise.
The will to keep going
When all ahead look lost
The inner strength of knowing
The worth what ere the cost.
Reaching the destination
The choice to carry on
Using determination
To move into the yon.
Inspirational aspirations
Dreams that can come true
Completing a mind meeting
And we are making a breakthrough.
As we stand, we understand
In storms and windy weather
Dinner lies beneath the waves.
We’ll fish for it together.
