Everything is Changed
In the wink of an eye
It can happen in a second
In the wink of an eye
Everything is changed
We didn’t even try.
We never saw it coming.
It’s certain to rearrange
Ways of thinking
Moments of Change.
He was always prepared for
The next moment in his life
What seems perfectly normal
Then stabbed him like a knife.
When he had the heart pain
He never saw it coming.
Nothing seems the same.
Now he is succumbing.
It up and took his life.
I drove him in my car.
Life was a swimming pool.
And now a tiny jar.
No one can take it for granted.
One moment to another
I’d rather take a deep breath.
And to never smother.
Sometimes the shoes fit snugly.
And walking is a snack.
When the shoe is on the other foot
There’ll be no looking back.
There is no enigma
Life is transient
Best to live every moment
Complete and ambient.
