I Cannot Resist
A vista.
I cannot resist a vista.
backdrops and scenery
settings of serenity
Seascapes and greenery.
When I’m in the country
out west of the divide
landscapes stretch forever
With nature as my guide.
Down by the Bay, I have to say
horizons draw my eyes
the careless cloud formations
The stage I see in the skies.
When I dream, I see a scene.
a different place and time
paranormal panoramas
A mystery of mime.
Leaves in trees and swirling seas
wave to me as I pass by
settings stretch forever
Seascapes then touch the sky.
Pearls peeking from an oyster
drifts of diamonds on the seas
a short sight of the distance
I have seen between the trees.
I dare not miss a vista.
or tire of the terrain
a rainbow in the valley
Or fresh bush smell from rain.
