In Between the Common

And creative.

In between the common and creative
Are unusual and unexpected ideas
Emotive events of happiness combine
With the music of the offbeat in my ears

I’m attracted to the out of the ordinary
The unorthodox unique and bizarre
I travel to few and far between places
In the countryside out there near and far

Out there are places of attraction
Isolated or thin on the ground
Another world where I like to wander
Where elements make the only sound

I’m compatible with the unusual
My eyes seek out the atypical and rare
The beauty of a silent sunrise
The sound of birdsong music in the air

My perception is a matter of importance
What I feel see and hear
There’s a language sung by the wind
In dulcet tones that vibrate in my ear

I enjoy an unusual encounter
The daytime can leave me uninspired
In the evening and in the nighttime
I often feel I’m differently wired

In between the common and creative
I have unexpected and unusual ideas
Emotions are the lubricating oil
Smoothly shifts me into other gears
