Infused

With intuition.

Are words enough? How much is a bluff
Reading between the lines
Veracity is a necessity
Now, who can read the signs?

Infused with intuition
Feelings connected to emotions
Where does the truth lie?
Or are they short-circuited notions?

You say you know places I go
Your antennae are on the move
How can you tell if I’m in my shell?
Or safely set in the groove.

Words, terms, and expressions
Expletives oaths and guarantees
Who am I addressing?
Am I talking to the trees?

You play your cards close to your chest
And feed me just enough
To satisfy my curiosity
Then disappear in a puff.

Save me and my sanity.
Why are some words misunderstood?
I need some understanding.
We need it for our good.

We all need a platform.
To perform our arcane oratory.
Hear the words tweets by the birds
Even though they maybe perfunctory.

The words I want to say to you
It should make sense
Let’s speak clearly without fear
Let’s use some common sense.
