Let me off the treadmill,
Take me on a trip,
Into the unknown,
I hope that we don’t slip.

No hard sell time will tell,
Let’s take it day by day,
Then we’ll know if it’s all right,
And if it’s okay.

There’s no anticipation,
The seas seem smooth and calm,
I wish to be enchanted,
By your enigmatic charm.

Mystery at the moment,
Kindness is the key,
Let’s do it together,
Try, and we will see.

So, we’ll go where I know,
The grass is greener still,
Over yon heathered field,
To the far side of the hill.

Sitting here in symmetry,
A peaceful platitude,
Where spells are unbroken,
By easy attitude.

Time will tell if the trance,
Turns to duality,
And enhanced by a dance,
Of serenity.

In your arms at midnight,
We slowly drift away,
A trip to the unknown,
And another day.
