Let’s Go

To the movies.

Let’s go to the movies
And lose ourselves for awhile
Laugh and be satisfied
And leave there with a smile

Remember when we were young
We’d wait till the lights grew dim
Then let our fingers wander
From each limb to limb

It was easier in the dark
We did it all by touch
And if you stole a kiss
It could lead to the friction clutch

It’s fun to watch a movie
And not knowing what it’s about
Cos whilst others were watching
We were working out

I call it the atmosphere
You call it the arena
We’ll both get turfed out
If one of us is a screamer

So let’s have some enjoyment
It’s Sunday afternoon
We’ll say we went to the movies
And travelled around the moon

I told you I was coming
You didn’t really listen
What can I see in your eyes
Do they really glisten
