Living Life

Sustainably.

Photograph by Author. Springtime sunshine on the Bay!

I watch wait and am mesmerised
By the feeling of the sun
And the shimmers on the Bay
Life is so much fun!

I Accept the inevitable
About my life and death
Living life sustainably
Up to my last breath

Making the best of moments
The gift of older age
Keeping my mind working
An actor on the stage

Each day as I grow older
Choices minimise
Accurate adaption
Is both prudent and wise

Sorting the priorities
Love always wins the race
Friendship fun and laughter
And cutting to the chase

Beyond my life, I believe
There may be nothing more
It’s here now for the taking
There’s nothing else in store

Memories connect me
History helps me to
Make educated decisions
And sample the tried and true

Moments come and moments go
The reason I am here
Made by my own volition
Becomes abundantly clear
