Lost

In love.

They pass so fast and alter,
Thoughts fly by my mind,
Steadfast I’ll never falter,
Or leave our love behind.

Sense and sensitivity,
A room and place to talk,
The smile and sensibility,
Our smooth and silent walk.

These are the components,
The times when we’re alone,
And are the melting moments,
The moments that we own.

On the wing, we drift along,
The shore and past the sun,
To a place we belong,
Where we two are one.

Sandwiched between the salad,
A dish of fish and fun,
The colours of a ballad,
Back where it began.

The sauce of course is slippery,
The sea’s an aqua blue,
Pens on the periphery,
The pencil scribes are true.

We pass the past and linger,
Longer for a while,
The ring upon your finger,
The beauty in your smile.

Lost in love and lonely,
I miss your magic touch,
The moments melt, and only,
I miss you oh so much.
