Magnification

Perception is a parable
In my book of life
Eyesight is a gift I have
And helps keep me out of strife

Magnification is a bonus
And helps my eyes to see
Print that is imperceptible
To a heightened degree

My new glasses are magnificent
They have perfect magnification
Their clarity is critical
And results cause me elation

I’m thrilled by the professionalism
And the friendly service
Except the cost was stultifying
And has left me nervous

Tit for tat is what they say
Spend up big then compromise
Vegemite sandwiches were mentioned
Helps make me worldly wise

Brand names mean nothing to me
Yet if I want the best
Greg Norman put his name on the frame
To give it extra cost and zest

Why is it that millionaires
Are not philanthropic
And subsidise the Pensioners
Needing myopic microscopic

Thankyou OPSM
I can now see what I’m doing
Even though I’m down on my knees
Nearer to financial ruin
