Serenades.

There’s an audible click and a regular beat,
A synchronised visual motion,
Simmering down to my feet,
As smooth as a silky notion.

One beat, then two, out of the blue,
Filaments falling from heaven,
First some words, then it was true,
A brew meant to bask past the seven-eleven.

It takes the cake as we drift on the lake,
And watch ripples rearrange the reflections,
A common yearning is all it will take,
To iron out imperfections.

Rushing and gushing this way and that,
A blanket cast past your control,
A simple hillside where you and I sat,
The sound of the sea on a roll.

Peace is the feast that beckons,
Simplicity in different shades,
Passes my mind in the coming seconds,
Metronomic serenades.

Pass me some love wrapped in a glove,
Soft and sweet and sanctity,
Messages from up above,
Written implicitly.
