No Coincidence

No need to wait and wonder

No need to wait and wonder,
There’s no coincidence,
In this land down under,
There’ll be no recompense.

Or change at the checkout,
Shortages and fear,
Is what it is all about,
The signs are very clear.

Now is the time to redefine,
Unreal expectations,
Whilst we queue and wait in line,
The world’s rocked on its foundations.

And there’s no coincidence,
We’re deemed by destiny,
All to do with confidence,
Bonding and equity.

The pleasance of acceptance,
The universe at work,
A turning and transcendence,
We’re unable to shirk.

Reasons why the seasons,
Shift and change until,
And unexpected feelings,
The art of standing still.

Listening to birdsong,
The wind up in the trees,
And the clouds that fly on by,
Shifted by the breeze.

There is no coincidence,
There before my eyes,
Undeniable incidence,
Time to remove the disguise.
