Regular as Clockwork

The ease of the routine.

My beautiful Granddaughter, Saffron. Private photo.

Regular as clockwork
The ease of a routine
Then there are other ways
The man, not the machine.

Sipping on the succour
Smelling roses too
Taking time to tantalise
Feelings I have for you.

Mists of imagination
Time to take time out
To observe the feelings
And what they’re all about.

Watching moments growing
Feeling satisfied
By a deft achievement
And what I feel inside.

Mixing the emotions
Inspired and energised
Living in the moment
The joy of being surprised.

Living is for loving
Loving lights the soul
Kinship is the keystone
Things out of my control.

Meet me in the garden
Ripple down the rows
Experience the other ways
Saffi, you and I suppose.
