Rejoice
For choice.
I think it best to exercise my partiality
And clearly hear my own voice
To own my own ideas and not be in arrears
And above all else to have freedom of choice.
Within reason, the choice can lead to the delectable
A selection of luscious and fine handpicked delights
I choose one over the other and have no option with my brother
And seek out a special blue-ribbon person for late nights.
Freedom of choice can realize expectations
Without choice, the options quickly disappear
Extensive choice gives a range of several options
Be careful what you ask for it may suddenly appear.
There are traps laid out there for young players
And many bargains too exotic to resist
Buy them online send shivers down the spine
But buyer beware there is always a twist.
Many good choices are made on gut instinct
And turn out better than using cool calculation
And for heaven's sake if it ends up give and take
It can be far better than a façade or false liaison.
There’s little time to waste to discover the right taste
And make the right choice that suits the heart's desire
So be careful you have chosen the taste that is ambrosian
Before you head to bed and lay down to retire.

And then when I added the extras
My heart lifts with rejoice
That my soul has seen the whole
And I have a voice to make the right choice.
And as they shout and ask for more
I smile and hear their voice
