Words with double meanings.

Shades of ambiguity
Words with double meanings
Feelings of uncertainty
Are obscure leanings.

Complexity and semantics
Muddy the waters further
And other lexical antics
Create anxiety and fervour

I scream for ice cream
And assorted mondegreens
Or was it just a bad dream
Maybe I’ve lost my beans.

Ambivalent and doubtful
Diverse interpretations
Words that are a mouthful
Unheard of destinations.

Context adds clarity
To what is heard and said
Dispelling the disparity
And confusion in my head.

Contested concepts
Informal fallacies
Imprecise precepts
Abbreviated analyses.

Inexactness of meaning
Words misunderstood
Very rarely gleaning
Are given, the good wood.

When I type my mind is ripe
Some meanings are obscure|
What I see cannot be
I believe there is no cure.

Dubious definitions
Doubtful outcomes too
Are perfect conditions
For loosening a screw.
