Your newer-model car is practically a smartphone on wheels and collects whatever location data it can. If you drive a modern, connected car, the car maker possibly collects data on where you go. Different car manufacturers have different policies on what they will collect and sell, but it’s a risk area that you need to keep in mind. Unlike your phone, your car doesn’t allow you to easily turn off the location feature.
