Signatures

Written on the sand.

No one knows the ebbs and flows,
the rhythm or the rhyme,
out of the blue, it is true,
They can happen anytime.

Now the moon, like a balloon,
floats amongst the clouds,
and the tide cannot hide,
Behind the budding crowds.

And on the shore, there is more,
signs of ebbs and flows
Signatures are written on the sand
the shells lie in rows

In between another scene,
is seen from far within,
it’s written in the wind, it seems,
The forefront of my dreams.

Like a bird, I’ve seen and heard,
the changes in the air,
and have felt, I could melt,
If I didn’t care.

Now it’s gone, the dreams dissolved,
the rises and the falls,
resounding in the mountains,
To echoing birds’ calls.

On the beach, you’re out of reach
you blink, then disappear
part of the moon is in a swoon
then on a rising tide, you reappear.
