Symbiotic Ways

A love poem

The complimentary colours
that fit neat as a glove
and so many others
the nuances of love.

A flow we know is fashioned,
in symbiotic ways
we sow a seed of passion
a fire that is ablaze.

Intrigued by the osmosis
through my veins you creep
my mind I find in focus
even in my sleep.

So, my love I see you
and feel that you are near
through the gate painted blue
your eyes are very clear.

Out across the ocean
the Mediterranean air
in the breeze a notion
sweet jasmine everywhere.

The daffodils and jonquils
reflect the brisk sunrise
past the last winter chills
to springtime’s of surprise.

The symbiotic sharing
the loose tied taffeta
the loving and the caring
a song sung from afar.

My smile tells the story
my senses pique and swell
love in all its glory
for you, my love, I fell.
