The Mystery
Of the nexus.
Linked by love it’s lovely,
In a nexus of ideas,
Sharing all the happiness,
And the tears and fears.
You’re on my mind and I find,
I’m crazy about you,
A tangent of totality,
Just came out of the blue.
Love is like a lifebuoy,
Hold on or I might drown,
A float that drifts to safety,
A mood of great renown.
Half is the penultimate,
It’s the whole that fills the bowl,
Simplicity, felicity,
Love sustains the soul.
Part of the magic mantra,
The moments we have missed,
Another lovely sunrise,
We’re caught in the eclipse.
The pieces that perplex us,
The puzzles and the plans,
The mystery of the nexus,
A flight to other lands.
Love in length and latitude,
Warmth, care, and comfort too,
Pointers of the attitude,
Between me and you.
Love that lasts a lifetime,
Elemental bliss,
The air we breathe, the sea and sky,
A soft and tender kiss.
