The Nuances

Of Nature.

It’s often imperceptible.
Too subtle to be seen
Intricate and exquisite
Far more than routine.

It happens at the break of the day
And in soft evening hues
Only seen in nature
Not on the evening news.

The nuances of life
Rarely seen and hardly heard
The whispers of the wind
The soft song of a bird.

It may be eagles drifting
Across the windy sky
Over a sea of sparkling diamonds
As white clouds scurry by.

Or the way you touched me
And looked into my eyes
I saw the mirrors of your soul
Look up and seek the skies.

You floated in perception
In a diaphanous dream
Then vanished into a mystery
Sweet thoughts slip into steam.

Scents subtle and sensuous
Delicate beyond belief
Parade on palettes of nature
In diaphanous relief.
