Some have even called me
An ungracious name
Yet I’m a Queen
I am Lady Tremaine.

I saved, from the depraved
A young girl named Ella
She used to sweep up cinders
And I renamed her Cinderella.

I bought her new clothes
And she scrubbed up quite well
She lived a life of privilege
Everyone could tell.

She did odd jobs around the palace
For her food and rent
And was saved from a life of drudgery
Her luck was heaven sent.

I had two daughters of my own
Both oozed with royal blood
They were sweet and thoughtful
And never would sling mud.

They were kind to Cinderella
And never gave her lip
And rarely found a good reason
To give the girl the whip.

It is easy to see I am kind
And a philanthropic Queen
And have saved a young girl
From a life was quite
