The Wait May Soon Disintegrate

Doing things differently

The wait may soon disintegrate
let’s love another way
doing things differently
is the new way to play.

Fall in love with a soul
before you touch their skin
and merge into a truer love
a feeling deep within.

I’ve been there and I’ve shared
the moment of true bliss
when I held your head in my hands
for a metaphoric kiss.

We share a bond that doesn’t care
for miles or latitude
our sense of separation
is only attitude.

We can connect electrically
and though we’re far away
send love on the airwaves
in a completely different way.

There are many ways and means
though my illumination
is doing things differently
feeds the fascination.

Time fly’s by and though we try
to normalise our day
dealing with the differences
is something here to stay.

Whether you’re in Europe
the UK or USA
in Asia or Australia
Covid19 has her way.

We’ve had floods and fire too
here in the land down under
though we know it’s everywhere
the lightening and the thunder.

It’s too late to legislate
or play the blame game too
it’s time to do things differently
it’s up to me and you.
