Time Makes Two
Love.
Time makes two love
That’s the way it goes
We walk and talk and love again
Everybody knows.
If love were indelible
You’d be etched into my heart
And transferred information
Would be a natural part.
Of the way we communicate
And always are in touch
And little things we think
Would never be too much.
I feel it’s telepathic
The love I have for you
I send my thought waves to you
Floating through the blue.
On this day when love is in the air
And opens like a flower I say
I love you that is true
You always make my day.
In the morning when I wake
You’re always on my mind
So, when I say I love you
Words can never find.
The depth that is apparent
Cannot be explained
Deeper than the ocean
Is in my heart contained.
Very soon you’ll reappear
And be back by my side
Until then I send you my love
In my heart, you will reside.
