Tuned

On the same wave

Imperceptible strands
Joining us together
Invisibly threaded
A magical unseen tether.

Singing the same song
Tuned on the same wave
Twins for life’s trip
Impossible to waive.

Connected by the words
It was never said or spoken.
And the mutual love
Never to be broken.

Caught within the web
Stretched to extremities
Struggling to be free
I am balancing the equities.

Teetering on the top
Of the tightrope of life
Swaying and rebalancing
I am stepping clear of strife.

Walking different highways
Apart but parallel
Whispering the words
Some are too hard to tell.

Seeking liberation
Of all the fears and doubts
Working with the ins
We are lessening the outs.

By the shore, though, there’s much more.
The mountains and the sea
Joined and symbiotic
Invisible and free.
