We All Watch in Horror

The truth has now been told

The whole world is watching
The truth has now been told
We all watch in horror
As the real facts unfold.

A dreadful mob incited
By the inciter in chief
Tearing down democracy
As brazen as a thief.

We know the facts and can’t relax
Till justice is maintained
The inciter and the rioters
Are held responsible and contained.

It’s a stain on humanity
Mad moments that won’t mix
With fair-minded people
Until the final fix.

We know the names and the shame
And the blood-thirsty assault
These scenes deem to be rectified
And now brought to a halt.

We’ve seen the scene it is obscene
May it never reoccur
And that we may walk united
Past the sorry days that were.

People from every country
See these scenes of shame
And placed squarely on the shoulders
Of the inciter who’s to blame.

Let’s hold hands and join the strands
Of all humanity
In a chorus that is for us
To restore our dignity.
