We Sway

In the breeze.

Sangfroid and sweet satisfaction
A feeling of tranquillity
Matching the mood of the moment
Total equanimity.

Moods that don’t move or meander
A composure poise and aplomb
A feeling of peace and assurance
Salutes the setting sun.

Lost in a mindful moment
A river of traffic and lights
Teased by the tantamount tenure
Of smooth and elastic nights.

Soliloquy and sweet surrender
Seduced by the sameness of life
A stretch of immense understanding
Two wits sharp as a knife.

All for one and one for all
Like aspens, we sway in the breeze
The joy and the ploy of the moment
Down upon my knees.

Closing my eyes eclipsing my thoughts
Resting the ink and ideas
Dreams seem soporific
Sweet music to my ears.

Roll me over in the Clover
Sunlight slides between the trees
Infinity and the Trinity
Are blown by the breeze.
