When Themes of Dreams

Disappear

When themes of dreams disappear
the mould broken
past, present and future,
Are just another notion

The world turned upside down
So many people are grieving,
We watch the news and wonder,
It seems beyond believing.

Things have changed forever,
They’ll never be the same,
Parts of the planet are dying,
Like an ill wind, corona came.

The past is fast receding,
The present’s full of fear,
The future’s like a suture,
Nothing’s clear.

It’s a sign to take the time,
To do things differently,
And explore the open door,
In light of the epiphany.

In a world hurled
into another age,
And many things seem upside down,
On another page.

Now’s the time to re-think,
Things we say and do,
New ways of doing things,
And to think it through.

Scenes of sustainability,
Embracing a new order,
Past, present, and future,
Another author wrote them.
