Where do Ideas?

Disappear to.

Where do ideas disappear to
I wonder where they went
Where did they originally come from
And from whom were they sent

These are some of the enigmas
I ponder every day
Thoughts fly into the ether
Where are the words they say

Are they sorted and shifted
Then monitored by the unknown
And eclipsed without a sighting
Disappear then leave me alone

How much is too much information
And where is the switch in my brain
That decides I’m inundated
What goes and which will remain

Thoughts fly low over the water
In formation shaped like a dart
Flying fleeting disappearing
Some buried deep in my heart

I watch the clouds float on the horizon
The line that demarks land and sea
It gives me a sense of proportion
And indicates where I should be

Where do I go on a dark night
When I slip under the wraps of a dream
Are the images that I see real
Or not from the perspective, they seem
